Tech Talk

I am honored to work with two talented research assistants in the Center for Qualitative Inquiry. Marlene Montgomery and Dhrumil Patel bring many strengths and background experiences to their ongoing support of faculty and graduate student users. As mentioned previously, I currently serve as the newsletter editor for the American Educational Research Association Qualitative Research SIG. In followup to their Workshop presentations I invited them to contribute articles for the new tech talk column of the newsletter. The newsletter has an international readership and their articles are quite popular with our readers. I wanted to share their work here with this audience.

Marlene Montgomery is a doctoral candidate and a graduate assistant working in the Center for Qualitative Inquiry at Texas Woman’s University. She is completing a Ph.D. in Reading. She authored the first article for the Tech Talk column entitled: Tech Talk: Cataloging Data (pp. 8-9) QRSIG Newsletter Fall 09.

Dhrumil Patel is a master’s student and a graduate research assistant working in the Center. He authored the second article for the new Tech Talk column entitled: Tech Talk: Data Collection (pp. 5-7) QRSIG Newsletter SP 2010.
